Reflection
What have I learnt in this module?
I learned design principles and how to apply them effectively. Additionally, I gained the ability to observe and analyze works.
What did I enjoy the most?
I enjoyed Task 3 as I can use the knowledge that I've learned in my work. The process of taking what I learned and applying it to my work was satisfying.
What did I not enjoy the most?
Task 1, was a bit boring and restricted when searching for artwork that had to be related to the chosen topic.
What have I learnt about myself through this module?
I found that I am weak in planning ideas, thus, I am very grateful to my lecturer Dr. Yip for pointing it out and suggesting I draw a mind map. It is an opportunity for me to realise the importance of drawing and planning a mind map first so that more possibilities can be discovered.
What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
I have expanded my knowledge in the field of design, which is crucial to developing a designer mind.
What could be improved in this module?
Simply learning design principles through lecture notes and pre-recorded videos is very one-sided, it is hard to absorb without any practical practice.
