  Instructions

  Final Project

Students will synthesise the knowledge gained in tasks 1 and 2 for application in task 3. Students will create integrated visual assets and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience.

Requirement:

1. Upload the website to a web server.
2. Record a video walkthrough.
3. Online posts in your E-portfolio as your reflective studies
4. Make sure to embed or provide a link to the website and the video from the blog post.

  Work Process

I first draw all the game scenes including elements in Adobe Illustrator.

Then move on to Adobe Animate and start to create the website. Since my website is supposed to emerge layer-by-layer, so I need to separate all the background graphics to achieve the expected results. It is quite torture to arrange those layers, but fortunately, the results came out pretty good.

Scrolling animation is actually quite hard to do, I suggest that you can create a button to move section by section. The animation of the loading page and the transition to the home page look great, keep working on it!

 Reflection

In this module, I learned how to create a website using Adobe Animate and design its prototype using Figma, which enhanced my technical and creative skills. Exploring the tools and their features was both challenging and rewarding, as I gained hands-on experience in transforming ideas into a functional design. Choosing Monument Valley as my website topic made the process even more enjoyable, as it allowed me to dive into the artistic and narrative aspects of the game while expressing my creativity. Overall, this experience has been fulfilling, and I am proud of the progress I’ve made in web development and design.
