WEEK 5
The production shoot will be conducted in E1.01 Photo Studio next week. Prepare advance work preparations for respective positions.

WEEK 6

1. Download the footage and audio of your production shooting and edit a draft with synchronised dialogues. Regarding the editing, please do not follow the order of the storyboard, try something interesting.
2. Complete Project 2 Insta/TikTok storyboard and update the slides.

3. Buy a tripod if you haven't bought it yet.

  Exercise 01 / Production Shoot  

Briefing section of the production shoot. We will be divided into three groups and remake the Everything, Everywhere, All At Once scene.

Therefore, we have to assign our work according to the crew list. This is our group crew list after discussion.

This is the Google Drive folder which includes the storyboard and video clip references provided by Mr. Martin.

Production shooting day. We took our shoots in E1.08 Photo Studio.

This week we learned to adjust the colour correction & colour grading of the footage we took in our production shoot. We have to apply all the colour grades that are required as the following:

Mr. Martin said that we could apply in each shot. Additionally, we could also edit our footage in a creative way.

Hence, I attempt to edit it into a trailer. This is the progress of my editing:

  Exercise 02 / Insta & TikTok  

For this assignment, we are tasked with creating a one-minute TikTok/Instagram video. The video format is vertical, and Mr. Martin has specifically requested us to use Capcut for editing our clips.

We have to come out with a proposal regarding the video idea that we want to shoot.

WEEK 5

WEEK 6
For the overhead shot, you have to use the camera crane, however, the stability is a bit poor. So it does not matter if it shakes in that particular shot.

WEEK 7
Try to edit the footage creatively, such as a trailer or something else. Exercise 02 can be shot by your friends for some specific scene, you may help shoot for each other.

WEEK 8
The editing and the story are both okay. However, the overall tone may need to be redefined since the colour tone you choose does not look that good. As for your video effects, you can explore more and better ones.
